Bachelor of Arts in English Studies
This program offers a complete four-year curriculum in the two-semester school calendar system. The courses offered in this program include communication skills, the study of English literature, and language teaching. Thus, this program helps in developing the abilities of students in effective communication skills for professional purposes in the community, and in personal relations. At the same time, it introduces students to several literary genres and the theoretical and practical perspectives of English language teaching, and thus, develops their skills in critical and creative thinking, literary analyses, and professional career development.
Objectives
- To improve the students' English language competencies through a better understanding of the structures and use of the language
- To enhance the students' knowledge and appreciation of literature
